first offer to buy my art

I was heading back home after the class and while I was waiting for the F train, a man got close to me and offered to buy my #painting. I didn’t sell the painting because it was my first but I got a story to tell you!

Luego de la clase, estaba yendo a casa y mientras esperaba el tren F, un señor se me acercó y me hizo una oferta por la pintura. No la vendí porque era mi primer pintura pero… ¡me quedó la anécdota!

robot annie and her mutant dog

This is an exercise that we did last year in the #Cartooning class.

We had to use the first and last random scenes from a popular comic strip and develop a story connecting them.

1) FUNNY WORLD, ALL RIGHT – NEVER KNOW WHAT’S GOIN’ TO HAPPEN NEXT- CAN’T SEE AHEAD AT ALL – ALL YOU KNOW IS WHAT’S HAPPENED ALREADY – (LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE)

2) THAT’S THE REASON WHY WE FEAR THE FUTURE – BECAUSE WE COULD BE ANYTHING – A LIVING DEAD ANNIE… (ANDREACOMENTA)

3) OR MAYBE A ROBOT ANNIE AND HER MUTANT DOG… (ANDREACOMENTA)

4) BUT SPECIALLY THAT’S WHY IS SO DIFFICULT TO FORGET THOSE GOOD OLD MEMORIES OF WHEN YOU FELT LOVED. (ANDREACOMENTA)

5) GEE, YER FACE IS JUST AS SMOOTH LIKE IT USED TO BE (LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE)
